Hey everyone,

Seeing as though we share a common love for Moonsorrow, I figure is a good place to share my own project; Lords of the Mountain.

Your feedback is welcome.

Hey, this sounds cool, actually. I was expecting poor sound and lame songwriting. Sorry for being full of prejudice. :P
This being my first listen, I'm loving both of them. Any plans of releasing an album?

Attention with him, if it keeps going on this way, he will keep on messaging you about your private life for writing an unofficial Lords of the mountain biography! :P

Will definitely listen

Haha, thanks! We'll be releasing a couple songs at a time over the next year or two. Once we have enough for an album we'll likely package them together and present them as such. We also plan to create a few playthrough videos, so keep an eye out on YouTube if you're interested in that.

In the mean time, you can download all our music for free from our website: http://www.lordsofthemountain.ca

Really great stuff! Do you have any plans for adding a vocalist in the future? These two songs work very well as instrumentals, but I think that at least a bit of vocals would be ok once you are talking about an album containing 10-12 songs. ;)

Thanks! Although it was a tough decision, we've decided to move forward with instrumental music exclusively. After experimenting a bit, we found writing lyrics and performing vocals just wasn't fun for us. Instead — we aim to create atmospheres similar to that of a soundtrack :)

And I support that ^^
Oooor you can do like Pink Floyd, an instrumental album except for one song with lyrics at the end. A "Hammerheart"-like song.

Ok I stop directing your album, sorry.

Thanks for posting your project! I know that the metal community has a higher proportion of fans also making their own music than most other genres, and I'm always curious to hear what other Moonsorrow fans are making.

Well, I though that was what the "Do any of you guys have bands or music projects of your own?" thread was about, but so far I'm the only one who has posted there.
