I recently posted a very old one, from 1999:

http://moonsorrow-interviews.blogspot.c ... -1999.html

...which, as I realized while I was writing this very comment, was there already. But now there's something more to it so it's good. There's one reply I would like to point out, though:

[Henri] You are right, there are lots of traces of our fave bands of that time in [the demos], like Emperor, Enslaved, Golden Dawn etc. And to be honest, sometimes I feel there are more influences of these bands on the new demo than there are creations of our own. When we composed the music on "Tämä Ikuinen Talvi" it was logically meant only for satisfying ourselves and thus some similarities to abovementioned bands couldn't have been avoided. So we didn't care so much of originality but of making intense, heavy and melodic metal music. Nowadays Moonsorrow concentrates on their own riffs and music, and to reveal something of the upcoming material; it will be even more folk music based and more melodic. But of course anything can happen...

"Hi, can you take this down please? You may share the link on here but I do not give permission for you to repost the interview in full."

This is the first time this happens... It's fine by me because it means no gain or loss for me, as long as the link works (i.e. the original is available online) and I have it saved in a safe place. But what the hell? o.0
