Ay dios. I can't believe it. Jorvik! I've been wanting to attend this Viking re-enactment festival for years. This time it turns out I have holidays that week AND there's Moonsorrow. I can't believe it. This event NEEDS both Tulimyrsky and ending with 1065: Aika. 1065: Aika in Jorvik would be so meaningful, that's practically where the events of the song took place! Ay dios. Mon dieu. Oh god. Jumala whatever. Úristen. O bože.

Ok I calm down already. Or in a few minutes.

They also need re-enactors on stage! Amon Amarth-style!

So so excited about this! Always wanted to go to Jorvik festival and this is the perfect excuse! Especially since Moonsorrow so rarely play in this country. And one of the support bands (Sellsword) are playing a gig with my band next weekend, meaning I'll be just one degree of band-seperation from Moonsorrow! :D

Very interested about this. If I had money, I'd definitely go.

I talked about it to my London based friend.
I'm not saying I'm coming, but i'm not saying I'm not coming either... Fancy sharing a dormitory, dudes?
I have this historical costume and I need an excuse to wear it...

I take the bottom bunk, I'm not good with ladders.

Deal. I need no ladders.

If it helps, concerning transportation, I've seen trains from London to York are about £27-30 per trip. The closest airport is probably Leeds, which has Ryanair and Jet2 among other airlines, and the roundtrip bus ticket is £11, according to this.

It's in February, we have time! I guess by December it will be more than enough. One of these days I'll book the planes. Although I didn't really consider the train from Paris. Basically I forgot it even existed. There's a direct plane from my city to Paris, so it sounds viable; besides, saying hi to the French capital for two or three days surely won't hurt. Gotta check SNCF, oh là là!

How one can forget the Eurostar? ^__^
If you need a shelter in Paris you're welcome to my place.
