In York it was scheduled for 21:00 but started at 20:45 :P
It ended at 22:15, earliest concert ending in my life.

Soundcheck? You're so lucky! Others pay 50 or 100 EUR for watching such things!

Haha we actually talked about that earlier today. Why would someone want to pay for soundcheck? Dude's just standing there "just strumming my guitar and screaming random ****" :D
Well yes they are sometimes really funny things but mostly it's just "DUMDUMDUMDUMTSHTSHTSHTSH" and so on and playing some song halfway. Thats it.

Because some people still think some "magic" happens when the doors are closed to the mortals :)
Same goes for backstage. Everybody thinks it's the place to be, most of the time it's smelly and boring.
Ah! The will of humanity to peep beyond, maybe that's what took us to the Moon, yet, it's a silly habit

Yesterday backstage was like a freaking sauna. Smelly and funny.
